It is the end of December 2013. The church was having a year-end party. Ricky was playing the bass, Meli was the part of the crowd. We actually found out that we were asking about each other, to our friends.
We were not close, at all. But then a Running Man event at the church was held, and we became friends. The first WA sent by Ricky was ‘I was locked outside the house!’.
It was Wednesday, April 9, 2014. We were having a rehearsal for theatrical play at the church for Good Friday. Ricky asked to end the rehearsal with a prayer, and in the prayer he asked Meli to become his girlfriend. Meli answered nothing, only hugged him.
Wednesday, January 19, 2022. We were at Bali, for achieving our goal at that time. We were celebrating with friends. To Meli’s surprise, Ricky and certain friends were secretly plan to propose Meli. We went to Melasti Beach, and Ricky popped the question, “Meli, will you marry me?” Meli, being Meli, only hugged Ricky and nodded.
And to our surprise, time surely flies! We’re going to knot the vows, in front of God, families, and friends on Sunday, May 7, 2023! Let the adventures, begin! 🤩
